PDSHOP ASP.NET No longer works with Google base new feed requirements. Does anyone have a fix. I cannot get an update from PDshop support.

@ James - Thanks for pointing that out James. I’ll look around to see if anyone knows of a clear and easy fix, however chances are you’ll have to build your own feed file from scratch to keep items posted. Not the most efficient, especially if it’s not dynamic, but will at least get you by until a better way is available either from the provider or a third party.

Thanks for the input. I have been told by PDSHOP that they are no longer going to support their last years PDShop.net program. Now they want me to purchase a new version. Of course that would make them happy to get another $400.00. I believe the non support is intentional; to prod users into buying the newer product. They actually stopped providing Google feed support less than 1 year after I purchased the supposedly state of the art .net program.
ALSO ALL SUPPORT STOPS NOW AFTER ONE (1) YEAR. IF YOU DO NOT BUY A NEW LICENSE FROM THEM, THEY WILL NOT PROVIDE ANY SUPPORT. THIS IS TERRIBLE CONSIDERING THE COST INVOLVED. WHEN I TRIED TO EMAIL THEM ABOUT AN UPDATE I GOT THE MESSAGE THAT ALL SUPPORT FOR MY ACCOUNT HAS EXPIRED.
This is a real disappointment considering I purchased two (2) licenses from them during the past year. One license was less than 3 months old when the updates stopped for both licenses. Because of the lack of customer support I will not buy another program from them.
Now I am on the search for a quality program reasonably priced that offers Google Feed and long term support. I strongly recommend you not buy any PDSHOP programs.
BEST REGARDS
Jim (SALES)
