question 1: where is the “buy now” type button, where do they click to buy.

question 2: i’m having trouble with the image path, i have it on my view more pics on myspace, and its 188×168 but isn’t working.

@ Jen – Good question, it has actually been asked by a lot of people. Currently there is no support for shipping within the PayPal Storefront Widget, it must be added into the price of whatever items you hope to sell.

Not sure why they rolled out the widget feature with no support for shipping, seems odd, but there is good news for you.

I heard through the grapevine that the next version will feature shipping configuration based on basket amount (sounds like a table rate based off price). I haven’t heard if there will be other options such as shipping based on weight, destination, carrier, etc.

Good look on Etsy and with the PayPal widget, let us know if you have any further questions.

How do we edit the shipping charge? Is this something we need to do in the regular paypal? Under “Shipping Calculations”? I had that turned off because I sell on etsy.com & the shipping charges were getting mixed up. How do I do this? Is there a forum for this where I could ask this & other questions?

@ DeBorah Beatty – Yes, there is a way to upload images for products, though it is kind of confusing to understand the way they have it setup.

Check out the “Create Your Storefront (Products)” section in the article again, notice the screenshot below it on the on the right that says “Picture of product,” that’s where you do it. The sample images above will change once you upload an image to replace them, to upload another image, either start a new project or click one of the sample images that are not yet replaced by the product image.

Image sizes need to be 188 x 168, for best results, so you may have to play with your stock photos to get them sized down or up from what you have currently.

Is there a way to upload product images, though? This will be awesome and save me all sorts of time and money once it’s up and running.
