The Holiday Toy List by Amazon Makes Toy Shopping Easy This Holiday Season

Amazon’s Holiday Toy List

Recently, Amazon unveiled a new addition to their toy shopping section called, “The Holiday Toy List,” which is meant to make this holiday seasons toy shopping the easiest it has ever been. The Holiday Toy List features unique navigation tools on every product page for over 450 of this seasons top toys, video games and even sporting goods and allows shoppers to quickly narrow and expand search results by age, gender, price, category, favorite characters and preferred brands simultaneously. In addition, product pages will feature video content demonstrating the toys in action that shoppers can email to friends or family as well as, options for customers to upload their own video reviews.

Amazon has made it easier than ever for customers to discover the perfect gifts for their kids, by creating the ultimate holiday toy destination that’s simple to use, convenient and fun. The Holiday Toy List is a place where parents can really engage and learn about the products their kids are asking for by watching interactive videos of the products and reading customer reviews and ratings from other parents.

Amazon’s Holiday Toy List displays toys and other items from top retailers including Hasbro, Disney, Nintendo, Leapfrog, LEGO, Fisher-Price, Mattel and Razor. Many of the products in The Holiday Toy List are eligible for Amazon’s Free Super Saver Shipping and Amazon Prime, shoppers have the ability to find great value and convenience while shopping with Amazon.

Additional favorite Holiday Toy List features include shopping reviews, product recommendations, user discussions and exclusive reviews from product experts who have interacted with the toys that are displayed. Another neat new feature allows parents and kids to create holiday wishlists, giftlists and also add items seamlessly from any product page.

Last Christmas, Amazon was scrambling to bring toy vendors into Seller Central. They had just ended their relationship with ToysRUs and there was a hole that needed to be filled. At that time, some people I worked with saw amazing results almost immediately. A year later, they are set. Just shows you need to jump on opportunities when they arise.

@ Tim – I agree with you 100%. I remember that too. They sure have done a nice job filling that hole, that’s for sure. The toy and game results I have seen along with the improved toy cross-sell features in their results are very handy, especially if you aren’t familiar with which toys are in and what ones are, “so last year.”
